Swim Club Training |
Well done to all the swimmers who were at the Aquadome on 12 November. 36 swimmers took part and there were some great pb’s. It’s been great to see the kids swimming in a 25m pool and a huge thank you as well to the 20 parents who helped out poolside – we much appreciate your support to the kids and the club.Thank you also, to Harry who has been working on the website – lot of new things being put on there – including the training times from the pool each session. Just follow the link https://grantownswimclub.co.uk/category/event-times/ |
Thursday 14th December is the last session for this term |
In all sessions there will be a pool party on this date. All primary school swimmers can attend 5.15-6.15pm and all senior school swimmers from 6.15-7.15pm. This is for floating around on lilos and chilling in the water! Schools swim meet – a great haul of medals by the team. Well done to everyone who took part and particularly to Andrew and Duncan who have made the finals! |
Craig Maclean Leisure Centre |
Sports science – a big thank you to Craig Maclean team (particularly Sam & Steven) for their dry side training this term. If your child isn’t going along to sports science, we can recommend this session. The junior session is on a Tuesday and the senior session is on a Thursday. The team are great at helping the kids on land to improve on skills that translate into helping with skills in the water. Booking is through the Craig Maclean website. |
Thank you |
Thanks to senior swimmer helpers this term – Bjorn, Duncan and Isla. Thanks as well to the team of coaches – Cath, Kathryn, Una, Freddie. |
