| 26th March – Last swim session of term & Annual Club Gala 17th May – TryTri Event 31st May (12.45–3.45pm) – Aquadome Trip |
| Annual Club Gala – Wednesday 26th March |
| The 26th March is the last swim session of this term and also our annual club gala. All swimmers should attend. Swimmers aged 12 and under will swim 60m in all strokes. Swimmers aged 12+ will swim 100m in all strokes. There will be medals in each stroke (bronze, silver and gold) and overall trophies for the fastest swimmer in: 10 & under, 12 & under, 14 & under, 16 & under and 16+. Volunteers are needed on the night for timekeeping and competition management. Please email Cath if you can help. Please return all trophies poolside as soon as possible so they can be engraved. |
| TryTri – Saturday 17th May |
| The TryTri is a fantastic event and the club is always keen to support it. Parents can help poolside and older swimmers often help marshal. Please let a committee member know if you’re available. |
| SSTQ – Scottish Swimming Teacher Qualification |
| Lela, Isobel, Isla, Craig and Adam have been offered places on the Swim Teachers’ Course, with the club covering fees. Please let Cath know ASAP if you’d like to take this up. |
| Aquadome Trip – Saturday 31st May |
| Running from 12.45–3.45pm. Open to all primary school swimmers and senior swimmers not involved in exams. More details to follow. |
| Timekeepers course |
| Thanks to Mairi for organising a timekeepers course. Jo, Ronnie and James are on the list already. If you can help, please message the committee. |
| Farewells |
| Farewell to Duncan, Gregor, Ellie and Bjorn. Thank you for being such fantastic swimmers, teachers and role models. You will be greatly missed. |
