We’re coming to the end of our first term with the last swim session on Thursday 6^th October.

Dates for your diary!

October Holidays Swimming

Tues 11^th Oct, Thurs 13^th Oct, Tues 18^th Oct, Thurs 20^th Oct – 5-6pm

For anyone who is swimming at the school’s swim meet or the Buckie meet.  You are welcome to book into the public session at Craig Maclean on the above dates.  There will be a schedule written for anyone who wants to train and compete (we can’t coach on this session)

October

Swimming will start up again on Tuesday 25^th October.  There is a timing night on 8^th December.  Pool party on 13^th December.  Timetrial on 17^th Jan for people who would like to join the swim club.

Sports Science 

This has been really successful with the swimmers and is continuing same time next term – please book in through the Craig Maclean Leisure Centre

Saturday 22^nd October

Swim meet at Buckie – Gregor, Isla and Ellie are attending in the afternoon.  Good luck to these swimmers.

November

Wednesday 2^nd November

Schools swim meet up in Inverness.  Entries are in, so fingers crossed that people will get their swims

December

10^th December 4-5pm

Cath & Kathryn will have the pool at Abernethy.  If you would like tested for stickers on the learn to swim program (from Nethy lessons) or for Brownie/Guide/Cubs/Scout badges, then just come along to this session.

Coaches

Thanks to Catriona for coaching Wed am.  We’re hoping she has a great time travelling and looking forward to her being back in Dec.  Thanks again for all her hard work. 

Kathryn has had a knee op and will be on crutches for a while – we hope she has a speedy recovery.  Danielle is also off travelling – thanks for all her volunteering and coaching input. 

Thanks so much for all those who volunteer poolside the club appreciates you – Holly, Danielle, Freddie, Gregor, Lucy Ella, Alice and Duncan.  As well as Isla, Ellie and Adam in learn to swim.

Swimmers

Freddie is finishing training with the swim club this term.  Is that 7 years?! 

Trips

We’re hoping to run a trip to Edinburgh next term – look out for more details to follow

We’re delighted that the Club has been awarded £1000 from the Arnold Clark Community Fund.
