Cath Moore

Cath is long serving coach at GSC and has been substantial part of the swim club since over 25 years.
Cath was a competitive swimmer – both in lifesaving and swimming. At university she took her swim teaching qualifications whilst studying for a degree in Hotel Management.
She moved to Nethy Bridge over 25 years ago and started teaching swimming to two children and, over time,the competittive Grantown swim club was establshed with the number of swimmers she ha been coaching increasing up to 400 people
After taking swim coaching & tutoring qualifications Cath then volunteered in Jamaica for 4 years where she was setting up the National Swim Program – SwimJamaica. Back in Srathspey for now 13+ years Cath is now heading up the coaching at the club.


Catriona Calder

Catriona is one of the decicated coaches with the club.
Her biggest passion is to travel and learning about new cultures, loving to be by the water, whether it’s a pool or the sea!
She began swimming as a child and joined the Grantown swim club at primary age and began to compete; Cath was her first coach! She started working in the leisure industry aged 17 and trained as a lifeguard. Cath assisted her to complete level one and level two swim teaching qualifications. Since then, she has taught “Learn to swim” classes and is now continuing working with the club.


Kathryn Talbot-Heigh

Kathryn is a coach at GSC and she has been part of the Swim Club for over 10 years. She is a qualified Swim Coach and Judge through Scottish Swimming.
She has held several different committee roles in the club throughout the years.
In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors whether it be walking with her dog or paddle boarding.
