Notes for Trytri – date in 2024 in 19th May
Volunteers
The Trytri 24th April looking for 7 helpers poolside. Variety of jobs from lane counting, running with times, helping organise swimmers poolside. Fraser MacKellar lead – Vicky is taking over.
Snack Table
PRIOR
Marie was contacted early May – agreed to make 2 soup kettles – carrot and coriander & lentil. Did extra pans too. Donated this. She brought hot plate & ladels too.
Checked CMLC that we could have tables and power socket to the left of the reception desk (as you walk in). Put up club banner.
Bought 72 white rolls , 24 brown, 2 boxes of oatckaes. 24 rolls were left. We buttered these.
Bought paper bags (120), serviettes (2 packs of 100), paper plates (2packs of 50), cups, spoons,
Baking – there was a good spread of baking. We charged, £1, £1.50 or £2. The soup £2.50. There would have maybe been equivalent of 30 celebration boxes of baking.
Took in wet wipes
We put a float in of £20.
ON THE DAY
Set up at 8.30am. Had staffed volunteers every hour through. Some people didn’t come through, others covered double. Really quiet on stall until 11am. Then lots of people.
48 white rolls came back. All the brown rolls went. 1 box of oatcakes left
300 cups left, 50 paper plates, 400 spoons
AFTER
CMLC stopped selling things at 1pm.
Wanted us out for 2.30pm. The team took cakes around field and sold remainder of cakes.
FOR NEXT YEAR
? people asking for coffee/tea – do we ask a coffee trailer to come?

I’ve taken out £20 we put in for float, £20 for rolls etc.
I have £381.27 & £30 that Edie/Hal’s mum has! Just need to give Amy money back from this!
