| SSTQ (Scottish Swimming Teacher Qualification) |
| Well done to Ellie, Gregor, Bjorn and Duncan who have passed the practical of the course. They are now just finishing off the theory aspect of the qualification. |
| Grantown Trytri – 18th May |
| If you’re not entering the Trytri then please keep this date free. We’ll be looking for volunteers to help on the day with marshalling (pool, run, cycle) as well as manning the soup/snacks table. |

| Timekeepers course update |
| On 20th March, 5 parents completed their online training in timekeeping. This was provided by Durno Jessiman, our local link to Scottish swimming. The trainees are now ready for their practical training and assessment. Many thanks to these parents for taking the time to complete the training and being available to use their new skills at the gala and future meets. |

| Funding |
| We have received great news that an application to the Berry Burn Community Fund has been successful. This means that they have agreed to award £2,535.00 to Grantown Swim Club to replace essential club equipment and support four swimmers to complete the Scottish Swimming Teachers Qualification (SSTQ). |
| Important Note |
| Please remember when coming to training sessions that there should be no mobile phones in the changing rooms and these should be switched off and to move your clothing from the changing cubicle to a locker so that other swimmers can also change. There was also glass in the changing area recently – please remember no glass bottles (not even deodorant bottles) |
