| Those who qualify for the Elgin meet have been entered – 11 swimmers will be heading to BuckieInverness graded meet is on 30th March (more info to follow so save the date for now) |
| Swim club gala Thursday 14th March |
| The children 12 and under will swim 60m in all strokes. The children 12+ will swim 100m. We’ve been preparing in training each week for this. There are medals in each stroke (bronze, silver, gold). Plus, there is also a trophy for the fastest overall swimmer in the 10 and under, 12 and under, 14 and under, 16 and under then 16+. All swimmers are expected to be present. Prior to the night there is lots of work behind the scenes – collating swim times, setting up heats and organising the event so we are looking for volunteers on the night to help with timekeeping and managing the competition. Please reply of you can help out. |

| A big thank you to Claire Anne for taking on the secretary role for the swim club. Claire Anne is stepping down and we’re looking for a new secretary – please talk to a committee member if you can help. Below is a who’s who with the swim club – if you’re able to help – even in a small way with running the club please talk to a coach or a committee person. |

| Harry Fry has been putting an update of swimmers’ times after a session on the website – these can be viewed at https://grantownswimclub.co.uk/category/event-times/. If you get chance to view these with your swimmer that would be great! |
